Luckland Review 2024

Before reading my Luckland review, you’d be excused for thinking this is mainly a casino. The homepage is packed with slots, and the logo is a casino chip. But the truth is that this site has a fantastic bookmaker which I will be explaining below in my full Luckland review.

Over the course of my Luckland review I found plenty to get excited about, but at the same time no online bookie is perfect. Here, I’ve summed up the key pros and cons of the site.

If you only have a moment, you can use these to make your decision about whether or not to join Luckland. But review all of my points on this page if you have time.

✔️ Luckland strengths

• Choice. There are loads of sports covered and a huge amount of markets. Football alone usually has over 1,000 active markets.
• Promotions. Straightforward and simple special offers where you can realistically unlock the free bets.
• In-play options. If you like placing bets during a match, you’ll love the features at Luckland.

❌ Luckland weaknesses 

• No loyalty scheme. You won’t earn points or work your way up to VIP status with each bet. This isn’t exactly a standard feature, but it’s something many players will look for – especially if you’re a high-volume player.

Conclusion 

I think there’s room for improvement, ,as Luckland could review their need for a loyalty scheme to reward their most frequent players. But overall, I think this is a really strong betting site with lots to offer. 

I often play at new betting sites, so it was interesting to discover, during my Luckland review, that the company was established back in 2015 (sports betting in Luckland since 2022). Normally, sites which have stood the test of time are extremely well known, but I feel like Luckland sits in an interesting middle ground where it has many loyal players but isn’t as famous as high street betting shops.

But maybe it should be. After all, the welcome bonus is straightforward and easy to claim. You can bet on pretty much every sport there is, with thousands of markets and an excellent in-play section.

Competitive odds

When I compared odds from Luckland sports to other betting sites, I found that they were consistently impressive. If you made this your primary betting site, you wouldn’t be shortchanged on your standard bets.

It’s clear that this bookie recognizes the importance of good customer service and that shows in the excellent live chat feature. And it’s good to see they haven’t neglected the mobile side of things, either – you can download the free app or simply use your mobile browser to bet on all the usual sports.  

You’ll struggle to find a betting site which is better equipped than Luckland for UK and Ireland gambling. Between Luckland and its parent company Aspire Global International LTD, the site boasts licenses from the UKGC and Malta Gaming Authority alongside an Irish Betting License. This means it is 100% legal and very safe to bet at Luckland.

Is Luckland legal in UK? 

If you’re used to playing at betting sites in the UK, you’ll know they have particularly strict regulatory criteria. But it is completely legal for players based in the UK to bet on Luckland sports. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been frustrated in the past when looking for a particular event at a betting site. The ‘Highlights’ tab helps tackle that, by making it easy to access the biggest current events in one click.

You can review Luckland sports coverage quickly and easily from the left-hand menu, which displays a list of sports along with the number of events available on each one.  

Whilst exploring the full range of sports as part of an in-depth Luckland review, I was impressed by the sheer volume of markets available. And the way it’s all broken down into neat sub-menus, which makes it very easy to navigate through the different leagues and competitions.

As football betting sites go, Luckland reviews very well due to a massive collection of international leagues and competitions. At the time of my Luckland review I could see over 2,000 football events to bet on, from England to Armenia.

Luckland horse racing  

When I review Luckland and other UK-based betting sites, I usually notice that football and horse racing take prominence, and that’s the case here too. All the English races are covered, as you’d expect, but there are also plenty from international races as far away as Chile. In terms of choice, it’s up there with the top horse racing betting sites.

The focus I saw during research for my Luckland review was more on Luckland’s sports than sponsorship deals, though it’s worth pointing out the site’s director also runs The Players Golf Club in Bristol. 

I placed multiple bets on different sports while testing and reviewing Luckland, and found the sportsbook to be packed with variety. From football to e-sports, Luckland neatly sorts your bets into tight categories on both the desktop and betting app.

• Correct score: Again, because there are so many football markets covered, there’s a good opportunity for you to secure competitive odds on the correct score of any match.  

Luckland Types of Bets Available 

As well as different betting markets, there are also various betting types. Here are a few you should know about:

• Single: A solo bet on an outright event, like Manchester United to beat Chelsea.
• Acca: A series of bets all lumped into one. Every bet must land in order for the acca (or accumulator) to pay out.
• Handicap: To get bigger odds, you can bet on a handicap market, where one player or team begins with a theoretical advantage in the score line. 

Having been around since 2015 (sports betting in Luckland since 2022), it would be somewhat understandable if this bookie had fallen behind some of the newer sites, built with modern technology in mind. But that isn’t the case.

As part of my Luckland review, I downloaded the app from the App Store and tested it out. There were no bugs that I noticed and it was a smooth experience.

I also tested the site via mobile browser, which is my preference over the app. It looks very similar to the main desktop website and has a fast response time.

As well as sport, Luckland also has a strong focus on casino games. You could even say it’s the main focus of the site. 

When I reviewed Luckland, my primary concern was to test out the sportsbook, but I also checked out the Luckland casino while I was there, as many players enjoy sites which offer both sports and casino gaming under one roof. 

Head to the ‘Casino’ tab and you’ll be greeted by the ‘Featured Games’, which covers all of the most popular titles. Book of Dead, Big Bass Bonanza and Starburst are among the top-quality slots you’ll see from many excellent software providers. 

There are more than 25 table games, and the live casino section has over 100 options covering live roulette, live blackjack, popular game shows such as Crazy Time, and lots more.

One downside to the casino games here is the lack of option to test everything out for free, which you will find at some other top UK casinos. But the choice and quality of titles here is still excellent.  

Finally, don’t forget to visit the ‘Promotions’ tab before you start picking any random casino games. Luckland always runs multiple casino promotions, often giving you the chance to earn reload bonuses and free spins – or even play for a mega leaderboard-style jackpot. 

I’ve mentioned earlier in my Luckland review that the site has been around for some time, but don’t worry – their payment methods are very modern. You can deposit using Visa, PayPal, Trustly and more.

Deposits happen instantly, and withdrawals are quick too. The site plays it safe by stating that withdrawals via methods like Trustly, AstroPay and ecoPayz can take up to four days, but the reality is they’re usually much faster than this. In many cases, withdrawals are instant. This was indeed the case when I made a couple of withdrawals myself.

Luckland cash withdrawals 

The minimum cash out amount is £10. In my opinion this is slightly higher than necessary, as a lot of sites allow withdrawals starting at just £5. But, in reality, most players will be looking to withdraw more than £10, so this probably isn’t a huge stumbling block for most of you.

The time it takes to receive your winnings varies depending on which method you use. Neteller, Skrill, PayPal, MuchBetter, Trustly and all the other e-wallet options are usually instant. The site states that it could take up to four days, but in my experience while reviewing Luckland, I never waited more than a few minutes.  

Debit cards take up to six days – again, much less in my experience – while wire transfers typically require two-to-six days. 

Customer support is one area which really stood out during my Luckland review. On multiple places across the site, the team are vocal about their ‘CARE’ commitment, which stands for ‘Customers are Really Everything’.

With a motto like that, I expected top-tier customer support, and they delivered. Not only were the team well informed but they also came across as being very friendly, which isn’t always the case at online betting sites.

Live chat is available seven days per week from 8am until midnight (GMT). It’s not quite 24/7 support, but it’s enough to accommodate most players.
