• Uncompetitive sign-up bonus: In comparison with other UK betting sites, the BetTarget sign-up bonus is uncompetitive. Betting £15 to get £10 is a poor offer, while the attached T&Cs make it tough to unlock any potential winnings.
• No iOS app: BetTarget has been fully optimised to work via your mobile browser. However, we were only able to download the standalone BetTarget app on Android as there was no sign of it listed on the Apple Store.
• Customer support is not 24/7: The BetTarget customer support team are only available via live chat or email from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm. There is also no dedicated telephone helpline where you can speak to someone to have queries resolved.

Conclusion

There are several areas where BetTarget excel, but the issues we have highlighted indicate they have work to do before matching up against the top brands in the industry.

In an increasingly competitive marketplace, it can be extremely difficult for new betting sites to carve out a niche for themselves.

In fairness to BetTarget they do some things extremely well, but there are several areas that need significant improvement if they are to compete with the industry’s top brands.

Making an initial deposit was simple, but our subsequent withdrawal request took longer than we would have liked due to the verification process.
