BritainBet is one of a growing wave of betting sites that has been designed primarily with mobile bettors in mind.

Initial difficulties in navigating the site on desktop prove that point to perfection, which gets this BritainBet review off to a bad start.

However, a quick sweep of the site on a smartphone suggests that this approach could pay dividends given the increased use of mobile devices.

With odds available on more than 30 different sports and a plethora of promotions, BritainBet suddenly appears to be much more promising.

Let’s not waste another second and take a comprehensive look at what BritainBet has to offer.

BritainBet Strengths and weaknesses

We highlighted some of BritainBet’s strengths and weaknesses a little earlier. Here’s a closer look at our reasoning.

✔️ BritainBet Strengths

  • Loads of promotions: BritainBet pushes the boat out with its promotions, offering existing customers sports-specific cashback deals, prize competitions, boosted odds and more.
  • Mobile-friendly interface: The sportsbook is targeted at mobile users, providing punters with a super-slick betting experience on the move.
  • Tons of football markets: Football fans will be in their element at BritainBet with hundreds of markets available on individual matches in top competitions such as the Premier League and Champions League.

❌ BritainBet Weaknesses

  • Limited horse racing: BritainBet offers comprehensive coverage of meetings in North America. However, odds are not available from the UK, Ireland and other international jurisdictions.
  • No live streaming: While BritainBet advertises live streaming, we were unable to find links to any events on the site.

There is undoubtedly a lot to like about BritainBet, but there are also several areas where things could be significantly improved.

BritainBet Review by Michael Black

It is fair to say that BritainBet’s sports betting platform has several elements that need to be improved.

Their mobile-first approach to the design of their site will appeal to punters who like betting on the move, but the experience on desktop leaves a lot to be desired.

BritianBet has a good range of bonuses and promotions, while their odds are in line with most of the leading online bookmakers.

Their depth of markets on major sports such as football is impressive, although some punters may argue that more than 500 on a single game is taking things too far.

The limited amount of horse racing is a big disappointment, while the lack of any live streaming links is another negative.

Our biggest issue with BritainBet was withdrawals, with a £2.50 processing fee for each request completely out of step with the rest of the industry.

This effectively means that anyone wishing to withdraw £10 would lose 25% of their money, which is unacceptable in our book.

We were also unhappy with the withdrawal time, with an eight-day wait simply too long in age where instant online payments are possible.

The firm’s 24/7 customer support highlighted their ability to look after customers, but there are unquestionably other areas in need of serious attention.

Is BritainBet legal in the UK?

Yes, BritainBet is fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 39335. There are no known legal issues with the bookmaker.

BritainBet Best Sports Features

The top online bookmakers have special features on their sportsbooks that take the betting experience to another level. Our favourite BritainBet features are as follows:

BritainBet Wager Wars

Bet on any sporting events for the chance to climb the leader board and win cash prizes via the Wager Wars feature.

The competition is fierce, but if you finish in the top five at the end of the competition you are guaranteed a cash return.

Live Multiview

Personalise your in-play betting by using the Live Multiview feature to keep track of the progress of your wagers.

This is a superb way to keep up-to-speed with all your bets and allows you to easily take advantage of in-play or cash out opportunities.

BritainBet Mobile Apps

While many new betting sites develop betting apps for iOS and Android, the BritainBet app is currently only available to download to the latter.

Punters can access the site on iOS via their mobile browser, which does not detract too much from the overall experience.

The BritainBet app blows the firm’s desktop site out of the water, offering punters a pleasurable online betting experience.

While navigation is difficult on desktop there are no such issues on mobile, making this one of the better betting apps on the market.

BritainBet Banking

BritainBet offers a solid range of payment options - Visa, PayPal, PayViaPhone, Trustly, Apple Pay, MuchBetter, Paysafecard, ecoPayz.

We used a Visa card to make an initial deposit into our account and were able to complete the transaction in a speedy manner.

Having been lucky enough to win with our first bet we requested a withdrawal and this is where the fun and games started.

We were asked to verify our identity, which took just a few hours to complete once we had uploaded our documents.

However, when the withdrawal was processed a £2.50 fee was applied which is standard practice for BritainBet.

Another major negative was the time the money took to hit our account, with a three day ‘pending’ period followed by a five-day wait to receive the funds.

BritainBet Customer Support

BritainBet advertises 24/7 customer support which is a big positive from our perspective. We tested live chat and email at different times of the day and received prompt answers to our queries.

The addition of a telephone helpline would enhance the service, while the Frequently Asked Questions section needs improvement.

This is largely geared towards casino players, leaving sports bettors needing to contact the customer support team for even the most common queries.
