PDC Premier League Darts 2024 – Preview

Littler heads into the competition after his stellar run at the Alexandra Palace, where he shocked the world by reaching the final before his 17th birthday.

He subsequently won the Bahrain Darts Masters by beating Michael van Gerwen in the final and will fancy his chances of making an immediate impact on the Premier League stage.

However, there is no guarantee he will handle the weekly pressure generated by playing at this level and he makes limited appeal in the outright betting market.

By contrast, Van Gerwen has claimed this title for the past two years and looks a decent value bet at odds of 7/2 on betting apps to win it for the eighth time in his career.

Last year’s runner-up Gerwyn Price should also be in the mix and could be worth chancing at odds of 5/2 to reach the final again.

Humphries was in fine form towards the end of last season, but consistently maintaining that level of performance is never easy in the Premier League.

Michael Smith, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall and Peter Wright complete the line-up for a tournament that promises to deliver plenty of memorable moments.
