The 2026 FIFA World Cup group stages are coming to a fascinating climax, with the knockout rounds very much in sight.

Panama and Croatia close off Group L, with Colombia and DR Congo doing the same in Group K, in two very important games for all four sides involved.

Then places are decided and progress is or isn't made.

Group B takes centre stage first, with Switzerland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Qatar and co-hosts Canada all looking to move to the last 32.

Then Group C are in the spotlight, with Morocco looking well placed to progress against Haiti, while Scotland are preparing for the biggest game in a generation against Brazil.

Expert Tips for World Cup Day 14 | June 24

The conclusion of the group stages always feels significant in a World Cup campaign and two groups are closing off on June 24th.

Before that, Panama take on Croatia in Group L, with the Croats needing a response after being beaten by England in their opener.

Colombia look well placed to advance in Group K but they know they will be in for a stern test against DR Congo, who impressed against Portugal.

Co-hosts Canada and Switzerland are in the box seat to go through in Group B and they meet, while Bosnia & Herzegovina and Qatar clash with third place in their sights.

Morocco, Scotland and Brazil are all jostling for top spot in Group C, with Haiti seemingly out of the running already.

Panama vs Croatia

Croatia to win the match (6/11)

Losing to England was a real jolt for Croatia, who know they now need to beat Panama here to have qualification in their own hands.

The knives were out for their second half showing against the Three Lions but they showed in the first half they have the potential to trouble sides.

Panama meanwhile were involved in a turgid 1-0 loss to Ghana but they will believe they have the tools to hurt Croatia in this one.

Both sides will approach it with caution, knowing a loss is likely to send them home but Croatia are a stronger side on paper.

๐Ÿ—ธ Long Shot: Draw at HT, Croatia at FT (4/1)
๐Ÿ—ธ Extra Tip: Under 2.5 goals in the game (1/1)

Colombia vs DR Congo

Colombia to win the match to nil (13/10)

With group favourites Portugal having failed to beat DR Congo, the stage is set here for Colombia to kick on and clinch top spot in the pool.

In their opening game against Uzbekistan, Colombia were tested, but ultimately managed to get over the line.

DR Congo will believe they can trouble them here though, in much the same way that they did against the Portuguese.

Not losing may be more important than winning for DR Congo here and they could be cautious, which should enable Colombia to sneak over the line.

๐Ÿ—ธ Long Shot: Luis Diaz to score first (9/2)
๐Ÿ—ธ Extra Tip: A red card to be shown (3/1)

Switzerland vs Canada

The match to finish as a draw (11/5)

Two sides vying for top spot in Group B meet here, as Switzerland take on co-hosts Canada.

With both teams locked on four points each, the stage looks set for them to both progress to the knockout rounds, with this one being about jostling for position in the group.

Switzerland were wasteful against Qatar but they dominated Bosnia & Herzegovina last time out, while Canada did the opposite against the same opponents.

This is a tough one to call on paper and with both sides knowing a draw pulls them through, they could be happy to settle for just that here.

๐Ÿ—ธ Long Shot: Correct Score: 0-0 (6/1)
๐Ÿ—ธ Extra Tip: Under 2.5 goals in the game (8/11)

Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Qatar

Bosnia & Herzegovina to win the match (4/9)

While they have work to do in order to reach the last 32, Bosnia & Herzegovina have impressed hugely onย  their World Cup debut.

They picked up a plucky point against Canada, before going down on their sword against Switzerland and this is now their key game.

Qatar also showed up well against Switzerland, overcoming the odds to draw but their loss to Canada was chastening.

Bosnia can give themselves a real chance of being a best third place finisher with a win here and they should get just that.

๐Ÿ—ธ Long Shot: Over 4.5 goals in the game (11/2)
๐Ÿ—ธ Extra Tip: BTTS (7/10)

Morocco vs Haiti

Morocco to win to nil (10/11)

Group C has been one of the most intriguing pools of the tournament and Morocco are in a fantastic position to progress.

With four points on the board and Scotland and Brazil still battling things out, a win here for Morocco gives them a great chance of topping the group.

They take on Haiti, who showed up well in losses to Brazil and Scotland but the gulf in class has been clear from the outset.

This will be all about Morocco, a side flying the flag impressively for African football and they will win this one with relative ease.

๐Ÿ—ธ Long Shot: Brahim Diaz to score or assist 2+ goals (4/1)
๐Ÿ—ธ Extra Tip: Over 2.5 goals in the game (10/11)

Scotland vs Brazil

Brazil to win to nil (1/1)

It has been a relatively quiet start to the 2026 World Cup for Brazil but they have the chance to make a statement here against Scotland.

Group C was always billed as a battle between Morocco and these two sides but they should all have enough in the tank to progress to the last 32.

In beating Haiti, Brazil showed glimpses of their quality but they still lack a bit of their trademark flair.

Scotland will be looking to make history by reaching the knockout rounds and they will look to keep things tight from the outset.

Brazil however have plenty of big game players, who should get them over the line.

๐Ÿ—ธ Long Shot: Correct Score: Brazil to win 2-0 (8/1)
๐Ÿ—ธ Extra Tip: Vinicius Jr to score anytime (13/10)
