When we looked at the available payment methods at Star Sports, we were a bit surprised. They take a stripped-back and simple approach, focusing on traditional card payments such as Visa and Mastercard.

There are a handful of other options, but they’re all pretty vintage, too. Bank transfers and cheques are certainly still popular with certain players, but they’re a lot slower than most payment methods.

While most online betting sites are focusing more and more on ewallets and crypto payments, Star Sports is heading in the other direction. For some of you, this will stop you using the site. But others will find it refreshing to have a simple cashier without 100 payment options.

Naturally, it’s straightforward to deposit at Star Sports.

2. Go to the account section
3. Choose ‘Top Up’
4. Enter your details and deposit amount
5. Confirm your deposit

It’s not clear why Star Sports hasn’t embraced ewallets and other modern payment methods, but it does make things a lot simpler when it comes to deposits and withdrawals.

You can only deposit using Visa, Mastercard, cheques and bank transfers. There’s also a ban on credit card payments.

Two currencies are supported at Star Sports: GBP and EUR.

Deposits are instant, while cashing out generally takes two to five days. This will of course be slower if you choose cheque or bank transfer as your Star Sports payment method.
