Top Picks for World Cup Day 23 | July 3rd

Australia vs Egypt

Draw (+190)

This is arguably one of the least glamorous Round of 32 clashes as Australia and Egypt meet in Arlington. As expected, the Aussies have been solid and tough to break down, keeping clean sheets against both Turkey and Paraguay. Although they fell behind against the USA, they produced a solid second-half display and were unlucky not to find the back of the net in that game.

Popovic's side are extremely well-organised and are always ready to go into battle, but they lack a little x-factor in the final third. Both of their goals against Turkey were long-range efforts, and their creativity will largely rely on Nestor Irankunda. It remains to be seen whether he is unleashed.

Egypt have been solid enough and has produced intermittent moments of quality. They have scored five times from an xG of 3.90 and are still unbeaten at this tournament. Defensively, they've stood strong, and despite not managing to keep a clean sheet, they are unlikely to find the Aussie attack particularly challenging.

🗸 Long Shot: Australia 1-1 Egypt - Correct Score (+550)
🗸 Extra Tip: Under 2 Goals (-120)

Argentina vs Cape Verde

Under 2.75 Goals (-105)

Argentina have looked exceptionally comfortable at this tournament so far. Although they've been heavily reliant on the brilliance of Lionel Messi, they have barely looked like conceding and have conceded an xG of just 1.90. Admittedly, they were handed a straightforward section, and this appears to be a relatively kind Round of 32 draw.

La Albiceleste have ample quality in their squad, and many believe that they are able to go up a few gears.

Cape Verde caught the attention of football fans with a valiant 0-0 draw against Spain in their opening group game. Despite being drawn in a tough group and being expected to finish bottom of the pile, they picked up three draws and deserve their place in the Round of 32.

They will battle admirably in this game and be extremely disciplined, but that may not be enough to progress.

🗸 Long Shot: Argentina 1-0 Cape Verde - Correct Score (+500)
🗸 Extra Tip: Argentina to Win Both Halves (+120)

Colombia vs Ghana

Colombia to Win and Under 2.5 Goals (+100)

Colombia are one of the few South American teams to have impressed at this tournament. Nestor Lorenzo's side have kept two clean sheets so far, keeping both Portugal and DR Congo off the scoresheet, and they cruised past Uzbekistan in the first Group K fixture.

Their performances have been solid enough, scoring four times from an xG of 4.30, and they created 1.70 xG against Portugal last week. James Rodriguez is still creating, and both Jhon Arias and Gustavo Puerta have also caught the eye in wide areas.

Ghana have been solid and performed with credit in Group L. They lost their final match, although they weren't too worried as it meant avoiding Portugal in the Round of 32. They will defend deep under Carlos Queiroz, and if they set up in the same way as they did against England, they will limit the number of times that Colombia can move into space behind the defence.

🗸 Long Shot: Colombia 1-0 Ghana - Correct Score (+433)
🗸 Extra Tip: First Half Result - Draw (+122)
