England needed extra time to overcome Norway in a hot and sweaty Miami. There were poor periods in which Thomas Tuchel's men struggled to exert control, but there were also passages of play which were impressive, and it was Jude Bellingham who proved to be the match-winner for the Three Lions. Tuchel was unhappy with many elements of their performance, and he will be working with his side to try and improve those aspects, but he won't have much time to implement them. 

A lot will depend on Declan Rice's fitness, who was withdrawn at the break last time out. The Arsenal midfielder, who is England's main set-piece taker, has been flogged all season by Mikel Arteta and is reportedly under the weather. Tuchel made a mistake with the second-half formation and was forced to adjust accordingly. 

Nevertheless, England has a spirit and determination that have seen them emerge from some tricky situations. They do not give up, and they tend to find a way to score. Admittedly, with 12 of the 13 goals so far having been notched by either Harry Kane or Jude Bellingham, they could probably do with a few others chipping in. 

Argentina have been accused of being a one-man team with Lionel Messi having taken centre-stage so far. However, he didn't find the back of the net on Saturday against Switzerland. Nevertheless, there are plenty of dangerous men in this squad. Like England, Lionel Scaloni's side does not know when they are beaten, and they will not be giving up their title easily. 

They have required extra time in each of their last three knock-out ties and are struggling to keep clean sheets, so this could be a thoroughly entertaining contest, which may also require an additional 30 minutes.
