• Getting funds on and off the site isn’t the best experience. The deposit methods available are limited, and withdrawal times are longer than you’d expect elsewhere.
• Some of the information provided on the BetUK website was either unclear, incomplete, or out of date. We had to use customer support, who were admittedly very helpful, much more than other betting sites.

Conclusion

BetUK offers a great on-the-go experience, with a solid betting app and a whole range of in-play betting markets. A varied list of promotions gives all bettors, not just fans of football and horse racing, a chance to get some extra value. BetUK have created one of the slickest and aesthetically pleasing betting apps on the market. It is unusual to find a bookmaker in the UK which has put more effort into its mobile app than their desktop site. If you’re betting with BetUK, we strongly advise downloading the app.  
 
Payout Speed ⭐⭐

We found that the speed of the withdrawals was arguably the most disappointing aspect of BetUK. We were waiting several days to receive our winnings despite using an e-wallet (these tend to be quicker than debit cards). We were eventually paid out, however, other bookmakers are significantly faster.

BetUK is fully licensed and regulated and we found their site to be perfectly safe. They use the latest encryption technology to safely store player details.

Although there were one or two frustrating aspects to wagering with BetUK, overall, we enjoyed our experience. There was an excellent selection of betting events (both pre-match and in-play) and the mobile app is excellent. However, they need to improve pay-out speeds and the desktop site.

Having encountered issues with our withdrawal, we spoke several times to customer support and they were always extremely professional and friendly. We were also able to speak to an advisor relatively quickly.  

As BetUK is owned by a game tech company who focuses on innovative mobile design, it comes as no surprise that its betting apps are excellent. You can easily find a fixture, deposit, or chat to a customer service agent in a matter of taps.

There is definitely a trade-off between betting margins and promotions. The promotions are varied and generous, starting off with an obtainable welcome bonus. However, it’s rare to find the best price on the market, and some margins for obscure in-play games are as high as 12.1%.

Because there is such a focus on the mobile experience, parts of the desktop site are not of the same standard. During my BetUK.com review, I found plenty of out of date, unclear, or misleading info. The live chat team, which is available 24/7, were always on hand to point me in the right direction, but this is something that could be easily improved.
