In an age where players are being pushed to play more games than ever before, many casual fans would be forgiven for failing to see the appeal of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup.

Crammed into an already jam-packed schedule, the tournament is heralded as part of a new era by football’s king makers, with 32 teams from all across the footballing world participating in the bumper event in the United States.

Previously a competition for tournament winners in each of the continents, this incarnation of the FIFA Club World Cup is sure to be under plenty of scrutiny, but it looks to have a significant amount of buy-in from the clubs taking part.

The hefty $100m prize for the winning club could have had an impact upon that, plus the chance to be crowned as the ‘best club in the world’, clearly holds plenty of gravitas with the biggest sides on the planet.

For punters and online football betting sites, the addition of another major tournament in the summer is sure to make for extra opportunities and with some fascinating matchups, it should be a tournament to remember.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup – Outright Winner Odds

Being crowned the first ever FIFA Club World Cup champion in this expanded version of the tournament, is sure to hold plenty of appeal with some of the footballing powerhouses globally.

Let’s take a look at some of the front runners:

Real Madrid – 4/1

15-time European champions Real Madrid are in the midst of a transitional period, with legendary coach Carlo Ancelotti being replaced by club icon Xabi Alonso. Expectations will be curbed a little bit by a relatively poor season endured by Madrid last year, as they succumbed to an early exit in the Champions League and came up short in the La Liga race with Barcelona.

However, tournament football is what Real are made for, and it would be fitting for them to be crowned as the best team on the planet here.

PSG – 5/1

It feels as if the tide is turning at PSG, who comprehensively became European champions for the first time in 2025, and confidence should be reverberating through their young squad.

Luis Enrique has his team playing with serious vim and vigour and they won’t fear anybody. Backing up the European title with the world crown won’t be easy but PSG look to be in the best place of any of the big guns ahead of this tournament.

Manchester City – 6/1

For only the second time in his tenure, Manchester City endured a full campaign without a trophy last year – something they will be out to put right here in the FIFA Club World Cup.

City have thrown caution to the wind this summer already, splurging on some of the biggest talents in European football and if they can get things ticking early doors, they could be a force to be reckoned with here.

Bayern Munich – 8/1

Vincent Kompany has overseen a transformation of sorts at Bayern Munich this season, guiding them back to the top of the Bundesliga tree and how he would love to continue that trend here in the United States.

Bayern have a squad packed with talent and they can beat anybody on their day, which makes them excellent value for this tournament.

Flamengo – 33/1

In a tournament that looks set to be dominated by the riches of the European elite, Flamengo perhaps provide the best value outside of Europe.

The Brazilians have an experienced squad and are well versed in tournament football, making them outside contenders in the eyes of many.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup – Golden Boot Winner Odds

As with any FIFA tournament, there is plenty of weight placed on individual honours and there will be some of the sharpest marksmen in world football in action here in the United States.

Here are some of the main candidates for the Golden Boot at the Club World Cup:

Kylian Mbappe – Real Madrid – 3/1

While the move of Kylian Mbappe from PSG to Real Madrid didn’t yield a Champions League for the legendary Frenchman, he remains one of the biggest draws in any football tournament. Real will be reeling from having relinquished their hold on the Champions League last year and Mbappe will be tasked with leading from the front, as they look to clinch Club World Cup glory.

Erling Haaland – Manchester City – 4/1

The goal returns of Erling Haaland have been sensational since his arrival at Manchester City and he will be looking to impact the Club World Cup, having lifted the trophy in its previous guise back in 2023. While the Norwegian wasn’t at his best last term, he still managed over 30 goals for City in all competitions, and he should be chomping at the bit here.

Harry Kane – Bayern Munich – 7/1

England captain Harry Kane will carry the can for Bayern Munich here in the United States and his consistency in front of goal makes him a serious contender for the Golden Boot. He continues to bang the goals in for both club and country and provided Bayern can play with the fluency they displayed last season, he should be bang in Golden Boot contention here.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup – Best Bets

Name the finalists – Manchester City & Real Madrid – 12/1

While this tournament in this format is new for all involved, Manchester City and Real Madrid are the most recent two sides to have won this tournament and will be raring to go here in the United States.

Both sides come into this one off the back of poor recent campaigns, they look to be taking this tournament seriously and they’ve had some classics in recent times.

Highest Scoring Group – Group C – 7/4

Housing Bayern Munich, Boca Juniors, Benfica and Auckland FC, Group C could be carnage, with all 4 sides sure to be full of confidence and hoping to bang the goals in.
