In what has been one of the stranger incarnations delivered by FIFA in recent times, the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup comes to a climax on July 13th, as Chelsea and PSG battle it out in the final.

Scorching temperatures, mixed fan engagement and on-pitch innovations have been met with an equal amount of derision and enthusiasm from football fans the world over at the FIFA Club World Cup.

The expansion of the tournament to a 32-team event was always going to be a key talking point, but it is the European big hitters who are in the mix for glory in the final.

Defending Champions League winners PSG began the tournament as the favourites with many FIFA club world cup betting sites but for Chelsea, this is a chance to announce themselves back into the big time,

With a prize pot of around $35 million on offer to both of these teams, simply for winning this one game, there is heaps more at stake here than simply being crowned the best club side on the planet.

The footballing and wider world awaits an incredible spectacle here, with US president Donald Trump expected to be in attendance and as with most FIFA events, the sublime and the ridiculous should well be present at the MetLife Stadium.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup Final – Match Odds (90 minute market)

Chelsea – 4/1

Draw – 3/1

PSG – 3/5

Chelsea

It has been a curious campaign for Chelsea, who ended their Premier League season strongly, finishing inside the top 5, to secure Champions League football next term.

Enzo Maresca’s side also won the Europa Conference League too, bringing some much-needed silverware to Stamford Bridge but not many people expected them to make it to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final.

The influx of big money signings at Chelsea has been telling in the past couple of years and Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittins have all been signed by the blues since the tournament began, indicating their all-out approach in the transfer market is set to continue.

Confidence does appear to be manifesting within this young Chelsea side though and they will have very little expectation on them ahead of this one against the all-conquering PSG.

PSG

European champions PSG were the favourites in many people’s eyes to win the first incarnation of the extended FIFA Club World Cup and Luis Enrique’s side have been rampant in the tournament so far.

Fresh off the back of their first ever UCL title, confidence in the camp within the Parisian side is brimming and they are a squad packed with some of the most prodigious talents in the world game.

It feels fitting that a side that has been so dominant over the past few months would have the chance to be definitively crowned the world champions, but football remains the great sporting leveller.

Wins over Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have propelled PSG into a position to be one game away from being crowned FIFA Club World champions for the very first time and they know they will need to be at it from the outset against Chelsea.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup Final Best Bets

Both Teams To Score – 8/11

While PSG have only conceded 1 goal in the tournament so far, Chelsea will firmly believe they have the attacking threats to at least cause them a few problems.

With 30 goals bagged between the tournament so far, they are far and away the two most potent sides in the competition and both managers tend to employ attack over defensive strategies.

Ousmane Dembele to score any time – 17/10

Such has been the impact of the FIFA Club World Cup, that people are beginning to see it as a showcase event for alternative accolades.

Ousmane Dembele played a huge part in PSG managing to win the Champions League and he has carried his form excellently into the FIFA Club World Cup, making him decent value to net anytime in this one.

PSG to win the match – 3/5

There is a ruthlessness to PSG currently within European football and they will want to add Chelsea to their ever-growing list of scalps.

Chelsea will approach this one with confidence and a plan, but PSG are too strong in the midfield and should control the game from there, which should allow them to dominate proceedings.

2025 has been all about PSG and they look ready to put the icing on the cake here in New Jersey.

Score Prediction – PSG to win 3-1 – 11/1
