Group A of the 2020 Euros will be contested between Italy, Switzerland, Turkey and Wales. Italy will enjoy home advantage for all three of their group games and are considered strong favourites to progress from the group. The matches in Group A of the 2020 European Championships will take place in the Stadio Olympico in Rome and in the capital city of Azerbaijan, in Baku’s Olympic Stadium.

• The winner of Group A will face the runner-up from Group C.
• The runner-up of Group A will play the runner-up of Group B.
• If the third-placed team in Group A is one of the four best placed third-placed teams, they will play the winner of Group B, Group E or Group F.
