The destination of the Premier League title may have already been decided this season but there is still heaps to play for at both ends of the table. Fulham have been pushing in and around the European places all season and they have an important test on their hands this weekend against Everton. Elsewhere, relegated Ipswich Town host high-flying Brentford, while Bournemouth host Aston Villa in a huge fixture in relation to European football next term.
Fulham vs Everton – Fulham to win
4/5 at Rhino Bet
Marco Silva has been overseeing some excellent football at Fulham this season and the Cottagers remain in the conversation to be playing in Europe next season. Silva’s former club Everton are the visitors to West London here, who have been improving under David Moyes but the initial boost the return of the Scotsman brought to Goodison Park has waned a little. Playing European football next season would be a huge step in the right direction for Fulham and they were a touch unlucky not to pick up a result against Aston Villa last weekend. Everton look to be preparing for the summer and with Fulham at home, they look good value to win this one with most punters and EPL betting sites.
Ipswich Town vs Brentford – Brentford to win
4/6 at Betzone
It has been a tough campaign for Ipswich Town, who have found life in the Premier League very difficult to handle and they face a stern test here against in-form Brentford. The Tractor Boys dug deep to pick up a point against Everton last weekend, but it has all come too late for Ipswich, who are facing life in the Championship again next season. Meanwhile, Brentford have been going very well all season under Thomas Frank and their constant goal threat has seen them pick up points against some of the very best teams in the division. Ipswich will give this a good go at home, but Brentford are full of goals and their relentless attacking approach could prove to be too much for Ipswich to handle.
Bournemouth vs Aston Villa – Draw
5/2 at Rhino Bet
Two sides that have been firmly in the conversation to be playing European football meet here, as Bournemouth host Aston Villa. The Cherries have seen results get away from them a touch in recent weeks, but they remain in 8th place, knowing that positive results in each of their last 3 games will see them plying their trade in some sort of European competition. Aston Villa meanwhile are relying on sides to slip up in order to fight their way back into the Champions League next season but have struggled for form and momentum in recent weeks. Losing this one feels disastrous for both sides in terms of their aspirations, so it could turn out to be an entertaining draw at the Vitality Stadium.
