Horse Racing Tips, Predictions & Best Bets – 11/06

MansionBet - Horse Racing Best Bets

Tuesday’s race card line up features four meetings across the UK and Ireland with events at Salisbury, Southwell, Wetherby and Sligo on the menu for punters to consume. As per the usual routine, we’ve assembled a selection of expert horse racing betting tips for today’s action. Check them out below and good luck!

Best Tip #1:  Regal Convoy – Salisbury, 17:52

Regal Envoy is a former winner at Salisbury and he arrives at that course in winning form today following his success over 6f at Linfield in a Class 5 Apprentice Handicap on June 1st.

The 5-year-old is 2lb up today, which is very little in the circumstances and with Oisin Murphy booked to ride in today’s final race at Salisbury, Regal Envoy’s appeal grows.

Strike could also come into the frame having proven his worth at Windsor when last seen. That triumph was achieved over 6f and the same trip today could offer an avenue for another positive burst.

Crimson Angel could also be a serious player after a consistent start to the year. The 4-year-old could be worth a market check on the best betting sites for horse racing.

Best Tip #2: Bethpage – Southwell, 16:55

Emma Lavelle’s Bethpage is hunting a hattrick today having tasted victory in success races at Fontwell and Ludlow and the progressive mare is taken to make it three wins from three, despite moving up 4lb in the rankings.

Her last triumph (Ludlow) came over a distance of 2m 5f and today’s trip is only slightly shorter. She’s shaping up like an improver and Bethpage is the preferred choice here.

Trump Lady, who won at Newton Abbot on May 29th, could be another name for shortlists. That winning effort last month came in a Class 4 event and dropping down a grade today could make the 9-year-old a menacing prospect, especially with Bradley Harris equipped with a useful claimer.

Best Roughie: Divilabrother – Sligo, 18:45

The Lake Isle Of Innisfree Handicap Hurdle at Sligo has the potential to be an open contest and Thomas Coyle’s Divilabrother could be the one to take at an attractive price.

The 6-year-old shaped up well to finish fourth at Down Royal last month in a competitive 20-horse race and rated at 85 again today, another involvement near the front looks possible. The re-booking of Carl Miller, who has a 7lb claimer, could be significant.

Elsewhere, The Truant has been backed into a tighter price on sports betting apps and deserves respect. He came close to scoring at Navan last time out, but just finished short over 1m 5f and the longer trip today could suit better.

True Destiny won at Sligo over a similar distance this time last year and is another entry with credentials.

Stats and Insights

  • The straight course at Salisbury runs up an incline for the most part and younger horses can often struggle to compete there as a consequence. Oisin Murphy, who is involved in seven races in today’s meeting, has enjoyed 22 wins from 93 events at Salisbury since 2019.
  • The ground is generally quicker at Southwell during the summer months, so pacier types can excel there during warmer conditions. Jockeys Sean Bowen and Brian Hughes will both be in action today and that pair have lodged almost 60 wins between them over the last five years at Southwell.
  • Sligo has sharp turns to get around and an uphill finish to conquer, though it suits the speedier types overall. Willie Mullins, Gordon Elliott and John Patrick Ryan are among the trainers worth tracking during meetings at Sligo.
