Behind him in second then was VARIYANN on first start for new trainer Martyn Meade. He\u2019s got more to come and is a previous C&D winner so, in spite of a poor draw, is fancied to run well at a price.<\/p>\n

Last month\u2019s Royal Ascot return was satisfactory on reflection and there\u2019s no reason to go against him in his latest Goodwood glory bid.<\/p>\n

Without A Fight could offer some each-way value but last year\u2019s Gordon Stakes winner MOGUL is hard to oppose back over this C&D. He won two Group 1s after that in France and America and all three runs this season have come in the top grade. The Ballydoyle inmate should take advantage of this class-drop.<\/p>\n
