In 2017, Mark Selby trailed rival John Higgins 10-4 in the World Championship final, however, staring down the barrel of defeat, the Jester from Leicester delivered a stirring revival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digging deeper than ever before, Selby won 14 of the next 19 frames to pip Higgins to the title, with the final score of 18-15 allowing the victor to become only the fourth player ever to successfully defend his crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
