Expect a season of transition under Erik ten Hag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Borussia Dortmund \u2013 7\/4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dortmund made some positive leaps in the second half of last season under the instruction of February appointment Nico Kovac, however, they still collected only 57 points in total and big improvements are needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If they can retain the dynamism they played with from March onwards last term, they could make further strides, though there is still an overreliance on Serhou Guirassy for goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RB Leipzig \u2013 9\/2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RB Leipzig are currently third-favourites to win the Bundesliga title without Bayern Munich, however, Die Roten Bullen could only manage a 7<sup>th<\/sup> place finish last season and with some of their bigger names likely to leave before September, they don\u2019t appear very backable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xavi Simons is in line to join Chelsea while Benjamin Sesko has left for Manchester United, leaving Leipzig with a couple of significant holes to fill in attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eintracht Frankfurt \u2013 20\/1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eintracht Frankfurt are available at a mammoth price to finish second this year, though Die Adler \u2013 who placed third in 2024\/25 &#8211; offer plenty of value in our opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skysports.com\/football\/news\/11095\/13399673\/hugo-ekitike-joins-liverpool-eintracht-frankfurt-striker-completes-79m-transfer-to-premier-league-champions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cashed in on Hugo Etikite<\/a> over the summer, though the French forward was far from prolific and his replacement, Jonathan Burkardt, hit 18 goals for Mainz last term, which is three more than the departing Etikite managed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2025\/26 Bundesliga: Promoted teams\u2019 prospects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FC Koln<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Koln are back in the big time following a year-long hiatus in the German second tier and Die Gei\u00dfb\u00f6cke return to the top flight as 2. Bundesliga champions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gerhard Struber, who guided Koln to title glory last season, is gone however, and has perched up with the Robins at Bristol City. FC Cologne (@fckoeln_en) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/fckoeln_en\/status\/1924125329943040135?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 18, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hamburg<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamburg ended their seven-year exile from the Bundesliga in fairy tale fashion when they were led to promotion by 34-year-old hometown hero, Merlin Polzin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Polzin\u2019s attacking philosophy is likely to ruffle some feathers in the Bundesliga, while some smart shopping, including the signings of Yussuf Poulsen from RB Leipzig, Daniel Peretz from Bayern Munich and Nicolas Capaldo from RB Salzburg, has left Hamburg in good shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We expect Hamburg to have a better shot at survival than fellow promoted outfit, FC Koln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2025\/26 Bundesliga top scorer betting tips<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>England\u2019s Harry Kane plundered 41 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich last season and 26 of those were delivered in the Bundesliga, earning the striker the coveted Golden Boot award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kane turned 32 over the summer but is still classy enough to maintain an output of nearly a goal per game for the champions and he will be odds-on favourite to top the goalscoring charts again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guinean star Serhou Guirassy was a major hit during his maiden campaign with Borussia Dortmund, chipping in with a sensational 38 goals in all competitions from his position at centre forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The powerful forward scored 21 times in 30 appearances in the Bundesliga despite Dortmund\u2019s struggles in the first half of the season, so Guirassy\u2019s tally could be even higher this time around if BVB continue to improve under Nico Kovac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Patrik Schick (Bayer Leverkusen)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Czech striker Patrik Schick matched Guirassy\u2019s 21-goal output in the Bundesliga, but some of the centre forward\u2019s more creative teammates at Bayer Leverkusen like Florian Wirtz (12 assists), Granit Xhaka (seven assists) and Jeremie Frimpong (seven assists) were sold over the summer, cutting supply lines in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\uded1 VfB Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle confirms at Sky: \u201cThe case is closed.
