Best Tip #1:  Roaring Legend – Chepstow, 18:40<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Roaring Legend pulled up at Cheltenham when he was last seen, though he has undergone wind surgery since and a rating of 119 for his return seems fair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olly Murphy’s four-year-old drops back down a few grades today and that could make a big difference as he attempts to score over hurdles for the first time. With Dylan Johnston in the saddle, Roaring Legend has strong credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition could be offered by Banteer, who represents Paul Nicholls in the fifth race at Chepstow. He struggled on soft ground at Wincanton in his last race on March 27th, though he could improve on that 6th-place finish today when moving back in trip with good conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Tip #2: Surf Club – Downpatrick, 17:50<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Surf Club scored over fences at Tramore just four days ago to break his duck and with that fresh shot of confidence administered, he can win for the first time over timber at Downpatrick. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still lightly raced, despite being 8 years old, Willie Mullins’ charge should be suited to the conditions in Waterford today and should be the one to beat, especially with prolific jockey Paul Townend involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gordon Elliott’s Gaye Winnie looks like another possible contender, albeit at a wider price. The 6-year-old hasn’t seen action since November last year, though she won on her last visit to Downpatrick over a shorter distance back in August. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacenry is another for shortlists after runs to first and second at Down Royal to start the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Roughie: Old Gregorian – Perth, 13:30<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Old Gregorian was runner-up in a bumper at this meeting in Perth last year and managed to score on his hurdles debut at Kelso last October. He also shaped up well to finish third in a Class 4 Novice Hurdle race on his first appearance of the new year in early February. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miss Lucinda V Russell’s 5-year-old has had wind surgery since and will be tongue-tied today. He should have plenty to offer here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rascal has been topping the bill on betting apps<\/a> in the ante-post scramble. He improved to finished second at Huntingdon on April 1st and is up just 3lb here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He should be in the reckoning alongside Olly Murphy’s Dominic’s Fault. The low mileage 7-year-old will be eager to emulate a January win at Leicester in a Class 3 race and should be in the mix when dropping down a grade today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
