Coup De Coeur is an import from the French circuit and the 6-year-old opened his account with an impressive C&D novice win in November at Sedgefield. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow up runs at Wetherby (2nd) and Sedgefield again (4th) since also showcased his promise and he is reunited with jockey Brian Hughes today, the man who was on top when Coup De Coeur broke his duck last year. Starting off a lb lower mark today, he is taken to win again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The obvious alternative, and fancied by other horse racing betting sites<\/a>, is Calevade, who won twice at Cartmel at the start of the season on good ground and nudged into second on his last run at Sedgefield in a Class 5 Hurdle Handicap last November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Tip #2:  Big Narstie – Lingfield 4.20<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Big Narstie isn’t always the easiest horse to back, however, he is adept at his level and he ran well to second place at Wolverhampton on February 17th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He runs off the same mark today and looks like the likeliest candidate to surge clear from the field. Mick Appleby’s charge has upped his game since putting blinkers on and should enjoy the trip over 1m in this Handicap Flat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flying Panther is one of the better picks from the rest. The 4-year-old won twice on Polytrack surfaces last year, and though he hasn’t kicked into gear for his new stable yet, the return of the tongue tie could be an advantage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Game Is Up has track experience at Lingfield, but will need the addition of cheekpieces do provide a major boost to improve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Roughie: Maura’s Gift – Dundalk 6.15<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Maura’s Gift was a C&D winner last year and looked back to form in November when pipped to the post in a competitive Apprentice Handicap at Dundalk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 5-year-old followed that second-place achievement with a decent third-placed run at the same track a month later and has the potential to harness her track experience today. Will need to improve on her first run of 2024 (6th), but she remains of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noble Crusade has earned the favourite tag on sports betting apps<\/a> in the lead-up to today’s event at Dundalk. The 6-year-old won a 14-horse Handicap at Dundalk on February 14th, however, he does have a fairly significant 10lb rise to carry and that could be critical. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gracesolution could be next in line, though the mare is 0-12 on AW and will need to settle better to really get going here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
