Romford’s Friday evening card is one to get stuck into with 11 open races to keep greyhound fans happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s always competitive stuff and this meeting is no exception with some very smart performers on the card for some of the top trainers in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 20.38 is one of the better contests on the card and Aayamza Lexie is a very smart performer when she times her break, showing that side last Friday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is some early pace for her to clear inside but if she is able to come away in a similar fashion again, she will be able to get one over on her old foe Doolin Express and provide Mark Wallis with a winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Things need to drop right for Sweet Pear as they did a fortnight back, a smart hound when things do go her way. She is flanked by a quicker starter to her outside and a railer to her inside so she will have the freedom of Essex on the run to the turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The front runner to her right will give her the perfect second hare to chase down and tow her to the final turn where she can produce her challenge to perfection for Wallis at 20.17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just four line up in the 575m maiden final at 20.54. Lunar Prince was the fastest qualifier in the heats last week and he can turn closer to the pace here than he did seven nights ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stayed on powerfully to score on that occasion but still shaped as if he is going to be capable of going quicker for handler Richard Devenish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first open is at 18.28 and sees Deanridge Nimbo don the striped jacket for trainer Allison Kelly-Pilgrim. The one dog looks set to move right from the lids and the four will go left so the inside looks set for serious trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nimbo has been trapping well in recent outings and can beat the five to the punch on the outside and slip clear of any crowding to take another victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scala Omeara has hit a purple patch of late for Nathan Hunt. He smashed out of the boxes last week, never looking in trouble to score by almost three lengths. The runner-up was Deanridge Nimbo, who can do the form a favour earlier in the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was in five then and four in this race, but in three is a dog who will take an immediate sharp left turn to the rails. As such, this looks a perfect launching pad for him to land the 9.12 and continue his rude run of health.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
