If Liverpool win, your total return on a \u00a330 bet would be \u00a340 \u2014 that&#8217;s \u00a310 profit plus your original \u00a330 stake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, if you fancy Everton to pull off an upset at 8\/1, a \u00a310 bet would land you an \u00a380 profit. Add your stake, and you&#8217;d walk away with \u00a390.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Backing the draw at 4\/1? A \u00a310 bet would return \u00a340 profit, or \u00a350 in total including your stake, if the match ends level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This format is familiar to many punters, though it can become a bit tricky when you encounter odds like 27\/11 or 85\/40. So, if you back Liverpool at 1.33, you\u2019ll receive \u00a31.33 for every \u00a31 you bet: that\u2019s your \u00a31 stake plus \u00a30.33 in profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the same logic, Everton at 9.00 means you\u2019d get \u00a39 back for every \u00a31 staked \u2014 \u00a38 profit and your \u00a31 stake. The draw at 4.00 works exactly the same way: \u00a310 on a draw would return \u00a340 in total (\u00a330 profit + \u00a310 stake).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main advantage of decimal odds is their simplicity.
